About
The project
This site is an independent longitudinal archive of the Registre des actions collectives du Québec. The official registry shows each case's current procedural stage, then overwrites it with every change; this project takes a full snapshot of the registry every night and preserves the history in git. The statistics and pages on this site are computed from that archive.
Methodology
Every night, a script downloads the entire public registry and records every difference (new filings, stage transitions, removals) in the project's git history, with the detection date. Pages reproduce registry facts — parties, dates, districts, stages, documents — without rewriting them, and every case page links back to the official source. Lawyer-authored texts (group description, “this case concerns”) are never republished.
Independence
This site is not affiliated with the Government of Quebec or with the Registre des actions collectives du Québec. Data is compiled as-is, with no guarantee of accuracy or completeness — the official registry prevails. Nothing here is legal advice.
Operator
